Tevinc will be the hometown fighter on the card.

KOK 54 also features KOK tournament winner  Zaur Dzavados against Moucine Chafi of Spain in a “Middleweight Final” bout, and some other kickboxing and MMA bouts are scheduled for the card. Kongolo wins WBC Title

Former Glory title challenger Yoann Kongolo hasn’t fought on a Glory show for over six months. The Swiss fighter hasn’t been out of the fight game however. Kongolo has been competing in boxing, and gone 4-0 in the sweet science since his win over Yohan Lidon at Glory.

Last weekend, Kongolo won his first boxing title. The 30 year old outpointed Andrejs Pokumeiko to win a WBC International title in Riga, Latvia. Kongolo won a unanimous decision to improve his pro boxing record to 11-0(4). The victory will likely move Kongolo up in the ratings, as regional titles help fighters climb the rankings ladder. Congrats to Yoann Kongolo for his boxing success, and hopefully we will see him compete in kickboxing again someday.
