Friday Flurries: Enfusion, Lion Fight, Superkombat

It’s a busy weekend for kickboxing fans. ACB KB 14 happens today in Orel Russia, with Russian phenom Vlad Tuinov facing Yu Hirono in the main event. Tomorrow, KOK returns to Moldova with another big card and their first ever  female title fight. WLF is Sunday and is supposed to stream free (must register). Here are some recent announcements in the kickboxing world.

Enfusion Announces Fights for April, May Shows
Enfusion announced a couple of fights for their shows in April and May. It will be a busy time for the Netherlands based promoter, as they have events scheduled for April 21, April 28, May 5, and May 12! That’s four shows over four weeks!

On the April 28 card in Slovakia, Marvin Monteiro of Cape Verde will face Stefan Meszaros of Slovakia. Monteiro competed in the four man 72.5 kg tournament in February, losing a decision to Michael Palandre in the semifinals. He’s a veteran of over 70 fights.

On the big May 12 event at the Hague, Netherlands, Soufian Kaddouri will face Wail Karroumi in a 63kg title fight. Kaddouri won on points against the tough Baris Karabas at Enfusion 62 in February.

Lion Fight 41 to stream on Flo Combat
Lion Fight 41 has a broadcast home for fans not able to attend the live event at the Indigo at the O2 Arena in London on April 7. An announcement was made this week that the event will be carried by Flo Combat. Flo Combat is a subscription based fight streaming service similar to UFC Fight Pass, and options include monthly or yearly subscriptions. Visit the Flo Combat website for more info.

Superkombat Event Sunday
Superkombat is back in action Sunday. Still no official announcement of the fight card. According to a post on the promotion’s social media, “The event will be the launching of the format Superkombat Dream will follow the evolution of the new heroes trough a reality tv series .”
