ACB KB, the Russia based kickboxing organization, announced earlier this week the card for the “From Paris With War” event taking place February 24 at the Halle Georges-Carpienter in Paris. K-1 and Glory veteran Freddy Kemayo of France faces Igor Bugaenko in the main event. The bout has a weight limit of 95 KG.
It’s a match up of two veterans with solid credentials. Bugaenko, 36, won two Tatneft Cup titles and also the Venum Victory Wold Series tournament at 95 KG in 2015. He’s also won the Superkombat cruiserweight title. Bugaenko hails from Belarus and his record is listed as 66-11(29).
Freddy, 35, has competed in K-1, Glory, Superkombat, Fight Code, and other organizations in a pro career that started all the way back in 2003. He’s coming off a stoppage loss in an all-French battle with Zinedine Hameur-Lain at Glory 42 in Paris last summer, but won three in a row prior to facing Hameur-Lain. Kemayo is listed at 70-24-1(48).
Another Belorussian fighter Yuri Bessmertny faces Djibril Ehouo in a rematch of their fight at ACB KB 9. Bessmertny beat Ehouo on points in their first fight, and is best known for competing in the Legend promotion, where he lost on points to Artur Kysenko and Andy Souwer. Bessmertny also dropped a decision to Davit Kiria in Glory. He’s gone unbeaten in his last four fights and is listed at 40-18-2(19).
Perviz Abdullayev, who performed impressively in a stoppage win against Godwin Afriye last year at ACB KB 12 in Los Angeles, faces Johane Bojeuseur in a 77 KG fight. French Muay Thai champion Samy Sana will face Rachid Salikhov of Russia in a 70 KG fight, and a total of ten bouts are scheduled. No word yet on whether the card will be available free through YouTube. Other ACB events have been available in the past. You can see the flyer below.
