Greek kickboxing legend “Iron” Mike Zambidis announced Friday he’s returning to the ring.
Today, Zambo announced his first opponent.
The K-1 veteran will face a Spanish fighter, Antonio Gomez, in a PRO Boxing match.
The Zambidis vs Gomez boxing bout will be part of the big Breakout Fighting Championship event taking place in Germany on 23 March.
The Greek legend has been out of the ring for a couple of years.
“Iron Mike” is a former SUPERKOMBAT champion, and is best known for his fights with the K-1 organization. He engaged in many great battles in K-1, including a legendary battle in 2010 with Chahid Oulad El Hadj.
Zambidis competed in K-1 Max events from 2003-2012. He lost in the semifinals of the 2012 K-1 World Max Tournament Finals to champion Murthel Groenhart by TKO.
