Polish promotion DSF Kickboxing Challenge officially cancelled its event planned for 21 June in the city of Moscow in the Russian Federation. The organization made the announcement on social media today.
With only a few weeks before the event, the promotion hadn’t released a full fight card or provided any fight card updates.
The DSF Heavyweight Challenge Tournament semifinals were scheduled to take place. The organization’s announcement didn’t mention a new date for the semifinals.
“We hope that our decision considering how much so far we have managed to do together for this beautiful discipline that is kickboxing will be received with understanding. At the same time, we assure you that dsf kickboxing challenge will continue to promote kickboxing in its best character and create beautiful sports shows with the best players from all over. We are the largest kickboxing Federation in Poland, so we feel great responsibility for this sport and its heroes,” the federation wrote in its statement (translated).
