It was the pro kickboxing debut for Juarez. Mckillip was the runner-up in the last XFN eight-man tournament held in 2017.

Brian Foster def. Cody Carrillo-KO Round 1 (Tournament Quarterfinal 4)
In a match up of MMA veterans, UFC veteran Foster ended matters early against Bellator vet Carrillo. Foster landed a stiff jab in the early seconds of the bout that Carrillo walked into. He landed a good counter, and soon dropped Carrillo with a heavy right. Foster threw another combination with a big right that dropped Carrillo for the second time, flat on his back. Official time was 1 minute 19 seconds.

Brian Foster def. Ariel Machado-KO Round 2 (Tournament Semifinal 2)
Foster scored two knockdowns in the first round with what looked like a sweep and also a low kick. In round two, Foster landed a spinning heel kick to the body that dropped Machado for the knockout win. The blow landed in the liver area.

-Amateur MMA: Nick O’Brien def. Igor Lyashenko-Decision

Brian Foster def. Alfred Walker-KO Round 2(Tournament Final)
Foster patiently pressured Walker, and landed a few good low kicks to the southpaw’s lead leg in round. Foster landed a nice spinning back kick early in round two, but it was the low kicks that did Walker in. A low kick dropped Walker, and he seemed to beat the count but was in bad shape and the fight was waved off.

Foster stopped all three of his opponents en route to the victory, earning knockout bonuses in addition to the $10,000 prize. It was an impressive tournament performance for the UFC veteran.
