WGP Kickboxing Returns in April with Championship Tripleheader

Brazilian promotion WGP Kickboxing kicks off its 2019 campaign with an event in Sao Bernardo do Campo, Brazil on 06 April.

WGP 53 will feature three title fights.

Bruno Gazani defends his WGP Welterweight Title against challenger Petros Cabelinho. Gazani recently challenged FFC champion Samo Petje at FFC 34 in November, but the bout was ruled a draw.

In a rematch with the WGP Super Lightweight Title on the line, reigning champion Paulinho Tebar defends against Jordan Kranio, the Kunlun Fight veteran. The two fighters previously drew.

In a Super Middleweight title bout announced today, Diego “Gaucho” Silva risks his crown against Jonas Julio.

In other WGP Kickboxing news, the organization has “unlocked” fights from its WGP 50, 51, and 52 events.
