WGP Kickboxing Super Heavyweight Champion Guto Inocente has a new opponent for his upcoming match at WGP 59 on 9 November in Brasilia, Brazil.
Russian fighter Alexander Grinchuk, Inocente’s scheduled opponent, will not be able to compete because of visa issues. WGP made the announcement on social media.
Replacing Grinchuk is hard-hitting Brazilian Haime Morais, who has competed internationally in Kunlun Fight and Mas Fight. Morais in fact defeated Iraj Azizpour earlier this year in the heavyweight tournament at Kunlun Fight 80, but withdrew after the quarterfinals due to injury.
Inocente’s title will be on the line against Morais.
WGP 59 also features a four-man Lightweight Challenger GP tournament in addition to the Inocente-Morais bout, and is available for international viewing on a pay-per-view basis via Fite TV.
