Weekend Preview May 18: One Super Series, DSF Kickboxing Challenge 15, WGP 46

It’s a quiet weekend in the kickboxing world, as three of the largest kickboxing promotions (GLORY, Kunlun Fight, Enfusion) ran events last weekend. Fear not, as there are still a few events this weekend that are of interest and deserve a mention.

ONE Championship Super Series Continues
MMA promotion ONE CHAMPIONSHIP continues its ONE Super Series of kickboxing and Muay Thai fights held in a cage with three bouts scheduled for the ONE Championship show in Singapore this weekend. The Muay Thai
Flyweight championship will be on the line as Sergio Wielzen battles Sam-A Gaiyanghadao. Yodsanklai Fairtex faces veteran Chris Ngimbi under kickboxing rules, and Singtongnoi Por Telakun meets Joseph Lasiri in a preliminary contest.

DSF Kickboxing Challenge Returns Friday

DSF Kickboxing Challenge returns with their latest event Friday. DSF 15: Bastion Chwaly takes place in Warsaw, Poland. Jan Lodzik of Poland faces Yury Zhukouski of Belarus in the main event. The bout will be at the 65kg limit and will be fought under K-1 rules. In the co-feature, Maciej Jewtuszko faces Robert Krason in all Polish battle at 81kg under K-1 rules. There is also a Poland-Lithuania challenge series featuring 5 bouts between Polish fighters and their Lithuanian counterparts.

The event will be broadcast live and free outside Poland at dsflive.com.

WGP 46 Friday
Brazilian promotion WGP Kickboxing, the largest kickboxing promotion in Latin America, holds their next event Friday in Sao Paulo, Brazil. WGP 46 takes place at the Gymnasium Mauro Pinheiro, and will be broadcast on Fox Sports in Latin America, BandSports, and Canal Combate.
