French standout Jimmy Vienot will face hard-hitting Vedat Hoduk of Turkey at the Arena Fight event on 08 June in Aix-En-Provence, France, promoter Kader Marouf announced Monday.
Vienot has recently been competing for the GLORY organization. The French fighter is 0-3 with the promotion, but his losses to Alim Nabiyev and Eyevan Danenberg were both by split decision. In his last GLORY appearance, Vienot lost a unanimous decision to current GLORY Welterweight Champion Cedric Doumbe at GLORY 60 last October. Vienot is currently the eighth-ranked GLORY welterweight fighter (77 kg).
Hoduk, fighting out of Turkey, recently won the four-man 77 kg tournament at the Nuit Des Titans event. After defeating Armen Hovhannisyan by decision in the semifinals, Hoduk scored a brutal one punch KO over Zakaria Laaouatni to win the tournament title.
The Arena Fight event looks to be a notable fight card. Enfusion 72.5 kg Champion Tayfun Ozcan is scheduled to face Mohamed Hendouf, and Artur Kyshenko also appears on the fight poster.
