Dutch organization Enfusion officially added another bout to its big event taking place on 6 December in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Moroccan standout Marouan Toutouh will meet Thailand’s Yodwicha Banchamek in a super fight. The weight category for the match is to be announced.
Toutouh is the 2018 Enfusion Al Shiraa Grand Prix runner-up. He lost a decision to another Banchamek Gym fighter Superbon in the finals. The Moroccan was also a runner-up in this year’s Kunlun Fight World Max 70 kg Tournament, and scheduled to fight in China this month but withdrew because of injury.
Yodwicha just fought Monday at the Fair Fight IX gala in Russia where he lost a decision to Artem Pashporin. The decision was highly controversial, and officially changed to a no-contest today.
The Enfusion December event features a 70 kg title bout between reigning champion Jonay Risco Perez of Spain and Enfusion 72.5 kg World Champion Tayfun “Turkish Turbine” Ozcan. Sarel de Jong, a two weight category Enfusion Ladies titleholder, is also on the card.
A four-man heavyweight tournament will also be held featuring winners of four qualifying tournaments being held at different Enfusion events. Greece’s Giannis Stoforidis and Rade Opacic of Serbia have already earned places in the Abu Dhabi Heavyweight Grand Prix by winning qualifiers held in Germany and Belgrade, Serbia.
