Tatneft Cup 2019: 24 August Fight Card

Promoter TNA Fights released the fight card for the second stage of the quarterfinals of this year’s Tatneft Cup which takes place on 24 August in the city of Kazan.

Two-time Tatneft Cup Champion Sher Mamazulunov is in action against Greece’s Yannis Manolas. Manolas reached the quarterfinal round with a very close extra-round decision win against Georgia’s Yago Gedenidze, who is part of Davit Kiria’s fight team.

Belorussian prospect Vadim Vaskov faces Miao Wei of China. Vaskov suffered his first defeat as a professional recently when he lost an extra-round decision to former GLORY contender Christian Baya.

In an all-Netherlands heavyweight match up, Yegish “The Armenian Lion” Yegoian meets Gokhan Gedik. Yegoian fights out of the Hemmers Gym, and lost a decision to Artur Gorlov at GLORY 66 in June.

Gedik trains at the legendary Mike’s Gym in Amsterdam, and advanced to the quarterfinals with an extra-round points win over Murat Azimov in June.
