Two kickboxing veterans picked up wins at last weekend’s ONE: ROOTS OF HONOR event in the Philippines.
K-1 and GLORY veteran Anderson “Braddock” Silva and former SUPERKOMBAT champion Andrei Stoica recorded their first victories under the ONE Championship banner.
Silva (1-0 in ONE Super Series) impressively debuted with a first round knockout against Andre Meunier. The Brazilian countered a lunging left by the Australian heavyweight (0-2, 1 No Contest in OSS competition) with an overhand right to score the stoppage.
Stoica faced Ibrahim El Bouni of Morocco. The Romanian picked up a unanimous decision victory to even out his ONE Super Series record at 1-1.

Stoica lost a decision to Tarik Khbabez in his ONE debut last month.
El Bouni is now 1-2 in OSS competition. The Moroccan light heavyweight stopped Meunier, but lost to Stoica and Khbabez, who defeated him via third-round TKO.
The fight card also featured MMA and Muay Thai bouts.
In the Thai-rules bouts, Saemapetch Fairtex defeated Ognjen Topic by majority decision, and Lerdsila defeated Kohei “Momotaro” Kodera by unanimous decision.
