Souwer OUT of ONE Kickboxing Grand Prix

Dutch kickboxing legend Andy “Souwer Power” Power will not be taking part in the ONE Kickboxing Grand Prix quarterfinals taking place Friday in Singapore.

Souwer was scheduled to face Muay Thai champion Jo Nattawut.

Nattawut’s new opponent is Sasha Moisa, a Muay Thai champion training and fighting out of Thailand but originally from Ukraine.

In the announcement of the lineup change, the ONE promotion didn’t cite a reason for Souwer’s replacement.

Moisa was slated to face Daniel Dawson of Australia in an alternate bout.

Dutch fighter Brown Pinas will instead face Dawson.

-Giorgio Petrosyan (Italy) vs Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy (Thailand)
-Sasha Moisa (Ukraine) vs Jo Nattawut (Thailand)
-Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex (Thailand) vs Samy Sana (France)
-Dzhabar Askerov (Russian Federation) vs Enriko Kehl (Germany)

Alternate Bout
-Daniel Dawson (Australia) vs Brown Pinas (Netherlands)

The winner of Petrosyan-Petchmorakot meets the Moisa-Nattawut winner at a later ONE event, while the Yodsanklai-Sana winner faces the winner of the bout between Dzhabar Askerov and Enriko Kehl.

The fight card will also feature a bout for the inaugural ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Championship. Former GLORY champion Nieky “The Natural” Holzken meets Lion Fight Muay Thai titlist Regian Eersel in an all-Netherlands clash.
