Supporters of the PSV Eindhoven soccer club showed their support for Dutch fighter Robbie “The Rabbit” Hageman yesterday, as they unveiled a banner during the PSV-PEC Zwolle match. The news was first reported by the ed.nl website.
Hageman is a quality fighter from the Netherlands who competed for GLORY. Recently, his career was cut short after a tumor was discovered in the fighter’s head. Hageman was scheduled to undergo surgery to remove the tumor, and can never fight again. According to the report, Hageman’s dad wrote on social media the tumor will grow back, and the fighter’s condition is characterized as incurable.
Hageman is a big fan of the PSV club according to the article, and even gave some of its players kickboxing lessons. His last bout for GLORY took place last December. The Dutch fighter faced Russian fighter Dmitry Menshikov, but was defeated by stoppage.
