Endy “Bad News” Semeleer will defend his Enfusion 75 kg World Title against top contender Marouan Toutouh on June 8 in Groningen, Netherlands, promoter Glorious Heroes announced today.
The two fighters previously faced one another in a quarterfinal bout at the Enfusion Al Shiraa World Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi in December. Semeleer won a decision but got a tough challenge from the Moroccan fighter. After Semeleer withdrew from the tournament due to illness, Toutouh replaced him and made it to the finals, where he lost a decision to tournament winner Superbon.
In Semeleer’s last bout, the Dutch fighter fought well but lost a decision to Enfusion 72.5 kg champion Tayfun Ozcan in February.
Toutouh was a finalist in the Kunlun Fight 2018 70 kg World Max tournament. He lost a decision to champion Davit Kiria, but many fans thought Toutouh deserved the decision and the judges verdict has been criticized on social media.
