Dynamite Fighting Show announced today that Romanian star Catalin Morosanu signed a new deal with Glory Kickboxing.
The crowd-pleasing heavyweight will also continue to compete for Dynamite Fighting Show, and his next bout for Dynamite will be announced later.
Morosanu, 34, is a big star in his native Romania. In addition to being one of the country’s best-known fighters, he’s also appeared on reality television series and served in local government. His two fights for Dynamite have garnered big television ratings, and the promotion has already announced a third event for December 15.
The Romanian has competed for Glory twice. He knocked out Maurice Greene in two rounds at the Glory 38 Superfight Series, but lost a decision in his last appearance at Glory 44 to Michal Turynski.
Morosanu was challenged to a match recently by young Glory heavyweight contender Junior Tafa of Australia. It’s possible that we see “Carpathian Death” face the young power puncher in the future in a Glory ring.
