“Polish Hightower” Faces “Big Swiss” at FEN 24

Polish promotion Fight Exclusive Night released the fight card for its upcoming FEN 24 event.

Fight Exclusive Night 24 takes place on 16 March in Warsaw, Poland.

There are three K-1 Rules bouts scheduled, in addition to the six MMA bouts on the card.

Arkadiusz Wrzosek, the reigning FEN Heavyweight Champion, defends his title against the “Big Swiss”, Patrick Schmid.

Wrzosek made his GLORY debut last December against top contender Benjamin Adegbuyi in the quarterfinals of the GLORY 62 heavyweight tournament. “The Polish Hightower” was knocked down and lost a decision to the talented Adedgbuyi, but showed his toughness. Schmid is a veteran who has fought for various promotions.

Anstey Fights for Title
Britain’s Darren Anstey ventures to Poland to face Radoslaw Paczuski for the FEN 85 kg Title.

Anstey recently switched gyms, and is now fighting out of the Storm Gym under manager and trainer Amir Subasic.

“Darren is looking to make a mark on a international stage. He is training hard already so 3 weeks notice is fine,” Subasic said in a message to KickboxingZ.

In the other K-1 rules bout on the fight card, Robert Rajewski meets Michał Gęsiarz.
