Multiple-time champion Pavel Zhuravlev has a new opponent for his ring return at the FEA World GP Odessa event taking place on 24 August in Ukraine.
Zhuravlev will now face Mehmet Ozer because original opponent Iraj Azizpour is unable to compete at the event.
Ozer is a Turkish champion and European Muay Thai titlist in the WMC organization, according to the announcement.
He’s 22-12 in the professional ranks, and previously faced Zhuravlev ten years ago in a heavyweight tournament final at a W5 event in Russia. Zhuravlev won that bout by third-round TKO.
The Turk will get a chance to avenge the loss later this month in a title fight, as the Zhuravlev-Ozer bout is for the FEA Interim Heavyweight Championship.

Santana, a WBC Muay Thai Scandinavia Champion who fights out of Norway, is preparing at the Hemmers Gym in Breda, Netherlands for the bout.
