New Opponent for Nasukawa @ Rizin

Japanese kickboxing superstar Tenshin Nasukawa has a new opponent for his featherweight title fight taking place on 2 June at Rizin 16 in Japan.

Nasukawa now faces Martin Blanco of Argentina for the vacant ISKA title, after former champion Ahmed Ferradgi’s championship was vacated by the organization.

According to the sanctioning body, Ferradgi “failed to come to terms with Rizin regarding his mandatory defense” after he “made a commitment to ISKA” to face Nasukawa in Japan.

Nasukawa has already won an ISKA title in the bantamweight category under Oriental Rules, and is moving up in weight to fight for another of the organization’s titles.
