Catalin Morosanu defeated Croatia’s Ivo Cuk in the main event of the Dynamite Fighting Show gala held in Craiova, Romania Friday. Morosanu made quick work of Cuk, and beat his personal record for the quickest KO of his career.
Southpaw Morosanu knocked Cuk down seconds into the bout with a left hand. Cuk arose and took the count and the action resumed. Morosanu opened up with a flurry of punches that dropped the heavily tattooed Cuk, who Morosanu referred to as “reptilian” yesterday, face-first towards the canvas. The bout was halted, giving Morosanu his third win in a row under the Dynamite Fighting Show banner.
The co-feature also ended quickly. Andrei “Mr KO” Stoica knocked out Luis Morais in a little over one minute of the first round. Stoica threw a right hand-left uppercut-left hook combo that dropped Morais flat on his back to get the victory.
In other action, popular Bogdan “The Shepherd” Nastase defeated Alex Filip in the second round.
