An upcoming event in China has inspired a lot of conversation on social media and discussion forums, with its unique rule set and an intriguing fight card.

MAS Fight takes place on November 10 at the Venetian Hotel in Macau, China.

The event features a number of well-known names from the kickboxing and Muay Thai world. Bouts consist of one round of nine minutes. A fight can only be won by knockout. If you do not knock out your opponent, the bout is a draw. If a fighter knocks down his opponent three times in the fight, that equals a KO and the fight is stopped. Throws are allowed, but ground fighting is prohibited.

Pride and K-1 veteran, “Korean Giant” Hong Man Choi battles Yi Long of China in the main event.

Former Enfusion champion Ismael Lazaar, who was suspended in March in the Netherlands after testing positive for steroids, faces Stavros Grigorakais of Greece.

Iran’s Iraj Azizpour, a Kunlun Fight heavyweight tournament winner, faces Wojciech Bulinski of Poland. Cuban power lifter Fredy Rankin will battle American Muay Thai veteran Steve “Panda” Banks.

The fight card was released on social media a few hours ago. Here is the line up.
