Lion Fight Promotions announced its first events of 2019 this morning.
On February 16, Lion Fight 51 will be held at the Los Angeles Coliseum, the historic venue that also hosted Lion Fight 50. The card is headlined by the organization’s unbeaten cruiserweight champion Chip Moraza-Pollard. Moraza-Pollard risks his Lion Fight Cruiserweight Title against Juan Cervantes of the U.K., who is the top ranked fighter in his weight category in Britain.
Jordan Harris, the unbeaten lightweight fighter from nearby Palmdale, California, is also on the card. Harris faces Amine Ballafrikh in defense of his North American title. More bouts for the Lion Fight 51 event will be announced soon.
Lion Fight 51 will be broadcast in the United States on the CBS Sports Network, and is scheduled to be televised live that evening beginning at 11 pm ET/8 pm PT.
A month later, Lion Fight returns to Dublin, Ireland for a co-promotion with Capital 1/Siam Warriors. Lion Fight 52 takes place on March 16 at the National Basketball Arena. The organization’s light heavyweight belt will be on the line when Toby Smith of Australia meets Hamza Ngoto of France, with more fights and broadcast info to be announced.
