Krush 96

Krush champion Kotaro Shimano retained his super featherweight title with an extra round decision over challenger Tatsuya Oiwa Sunday in Tokyo. There wasn’t enough to separate the fighters after three rounds, and the extra round was required. Shimano swept the extra period 10-9 on all three judges’ scorecards to keep the title.

Kukumura Masashi prevailed over Victor Saravia, and Yasuto Gunji bested Tatsuya Tsubakihara in the semifinals of the super bantam tournament, setting up a collision for the vacant title.
