Top Bulgarian fighter and GLORY lightweight contender Stoyan Koprivlenski will receive awards at the Max Fight 43 event taking place on 5 July in Bedroom Beach, Bulgaria. The Max Fight promotion announced the news today.
Koprivlenski will receive an award from Max Fight, for whom he has competed twice, and also the Bulgarian Confederation of kickboxing and Muay Thai (BKKMT).
Koprivlenski is coming off a big win at last Saturday’s GLORY 66 event in Paris. The Bulgarian defeated young Moroccan star Mohammed Jaraya via third-round TKO due to a cut caused by a legal blow. According to the announcement, he’s the only Bulgarian fighter under contract with GLORY.
The Mike’s Gym fighter is currently ranked third in the GLORY lightweight division (70 kg), and has defeated two top-level fighters in Jaraya and second-ranked Tyjani Beztati, although Beztati avenged the defeat with a decision victory over Koprivlenski last December.
