KOK: Turkey vs Germany Fight Card Update

Mr. Erkan Varol, a top Turkish fighter and the official KOK Turkey Representative, today released matchups for the KOK World Series event taking place at the Bayraktepe Arena in Sakarya on 26 July.

The 26 July event features a Turkey vs Germany challenge series, and four challenge bouts were officially announced today (subject to change).

Young Turkish female fighter Ozgenur Avcil looks for her fourth win in KOK competition this year against Germany’s Tiziana Olmo.

Avcil defeated IFMA medalist Irem Capar and Aleyna Nisanur Onem at KOK events in March. Last month, she defeated France’s Allison Dissieux at the KOK: Turkey vs France challenge.

Olmo fights out of Germany but is of Italian descent, and has competed in both kickboxing and MMA.

-58 kg: Ozgenur Avcil vs Tiziana Olmo
-65 kg: Bedirhan Kanbur vs Ali El Saleh
-71 kg: Gokhan Boran vs Timo Stendel
-71 kg: Yasin Arduc vs Johannes Kurz

Five additional super fights were also made official. Fighters from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran, and the Russian Federation are scheduled for action.

Heavyweights Ramazan Paramisov and Jafar Ahmadi both won their bouts at last month’s KOK event in Sakarya. Paramisov improved to 6-1 with a decision win against tough Burak Durgun. Ahmadi defeated Rejebay Akramov, also by decision.

Rising Turkish fighter Ahmet Kilic returns. Kilic improved to 12-0 with a first-round stoppage win at the KOK event held in Istanbul in March.
