Bellator held a press conference in Hungary today for their upcoming event on April 6. It’s another Bellator fight card that combines MMA and kickboxing matches. Most of the press conference was conducted in Hungarian, however promoter Paolo Boccotti did announce two of the kickboxing matches for the Bellator KB portion of the event. Raymond Daniels will defend his Bellator KB Welterweight Title against Djibril Ehouo of France. Ehouo has an impressive listed record of 64-6-1, and won a decision over Yuri Bessmerthy at ACB KB 13 last month in Paris. For Daniels, it will be his third time competing in Hungary. Daniels has knocked out four of his last six opponents.
Alexey Ignashov meanwhile faces fellow veteran Dzevad Poturak of Bosnia. Poturak lost a decision to Michal Turynski at DSF Kickboxing Challenge 13 last month in Poland. Ignashov, who fought in K-1 for years, is returning from a layoff and is now 40 years of age.
