Two world-class heavyweights will battle on 25 July in the Czech Republic when Roman Kryklia and Tomas Hron do battle at the Yangames Fight Night event.
It’s the fourth meeting between the two fighters. Kryklia holds a 2-1 advantage in bouts against fellow veteran Hron.
The two rivals last met at the Fighting & Entertainment Assocation of Moldova (FEA) gala this past October, with Kryklia the victor on points.
Kryklia, fighting out of the Gridin Gym in Belarus, has been on a great run lately. After winning the FEA four-man tournament in October, the Ukrainian followed up with a win in the Kunlun Fight 80 tournament in February. Kryklia defeated Enfusion contender Martin Pacas, young Serbian fighter Rade Opacic, and Iraj Azizpour to earn the 2018 KLF +100 kg Title.
Hron is competing in the DSF Heavyweight Challenge Tournament, organized by Polish promotion DSF. The GLORY and It’s Showtime veteran is supposed to face Dawid Zoltaszek on 21 June in Moscow, but the promotion hasn’t made any official statements about the event recently.
