Glory Veteran Casey Greene to Fight for a WBC Muay Thai Title

GLORY veteran Casey “Go” Greene will fight for a WBC title at the WCK Muay Thai event on Friday July 20 in Burbank, California. CALI 29: Bad Intentions 2 takes place at the Burbank Marriott.

Greene, who is 3-5 in GLORY, last fought for the organization in February at Glory 50 in Chicago. Greene scored an early knockdown against Omar Moreno, but was knocked down himself late in the fight and lost an extra round decision. Greene went on a three fight winning streak with GLORY in 2015 and 2016, but has lost three straight including the Moreno defeat and losses to Richard Abraham and Thongchai.

Greene faces Charles Bisset, a Canadian fighter who’s won an ACB North American title and also won a Suwit Stadium cruiserweight championship. In another WBC title fight, Jermaine Soto battles Brian Del Rosario.

Three IAMTF title fights are also scheduled for the event, and some ranking bouts will take place.
