GLORY 66: Three Title Fights Planned

GLORY 66 was announced today on French television, and it’s a blockbuster event for the promotion.

Three title fights are scheduled for GLORY 66, which takes place at the Zenith arena in Paris on 22 June.

Artem Vakhitov returns after a ten-month absence due to injury to defend his light heavyweight title.

The Russian power puncher meets Donegi Abena, the young contender fighting out of Mike’s Gym. It’s Vakhitov’s first bout since he retained his title via controversial decision against Danyo Ilunga last August.

Cedric Doumbe faces Alim Nabiyev in a rematch of a previous bout won by Nabiyev at GLORY 51 on points.

Doumbe’s GLORY Welterweight title will be at stake.

It’s the first defense of Doumbe’s second reign as welterweight champion.

Super Bantamweight queen Anissa Meksen once again defends before the home French audience.

Meksen meets the winner of the Sofia Olofsson-Christi Brereton bout taking place Friday at GLORY 65.
