Alim Nabiyev SD3 Cedric Doumbe (Welterweight Contender Headline Bout)
Azerbaijan’s Nabiyev outfought former champion Doumbe to win a unanimous decision and earn a shot at welterweight champion Harut Grigorian. Doumbe edged the first round with sharp punches, but Nabiyev came forward and won the second with his pressure. In the third, southpaw Nabiyev continued to come forward and got the better of the boxing and also landed some knees. Doumbe appeared hurt late in the bout. Nabiyev improves to 49-6. Doumbe is now 68-6-1.

Mohammed Jaraya UD3 Miles Simson (Welterweight Bout)
Jaraya made a successful GLORY debut with a unanimous points win over the solid Simson. The fight was mainly at close range. Jaraya landed some solid low kicks and punches to both body and head, and pressed the fight. Simson outlanded Jaraya, but his blows didn’t have the same effect. Jaraya improves to 64-6. Simson is now 64-13.

“I was very nervous for this fight. It’s my first time in Glory. It’s my first time in welterweight. Everything was new for me. I did what I had to do. Up to the next one,” Jaraya said in the post fight interview.

Tyjani Beztati KO1 Anil Cabri (Lightweight Bout)
Cabri landed a couple of good left hooks early, but Beztati soon ended the fight with a high kick set up by some punches with Cabri on the ropes. Beztati is now 6-1 in Glory, and 16-2 overall. Cabri slips to 17-2. Time was 2:17 of round one.

“The main thing was to be patient. I was looking for the moment and the moment came through,” Beztatai said afterward in an interview with commentator Whitney Miller.

Massaro Glunder UD3 Victor Pinto (Featherweight Bout)
Glunder got back in the win column after three straight losses with a points win over Pinto. Glunder was the aggressor and landed some good punches and knees. Pinto scored with some good punches and some nice kicks, but Glunder outscored him. All judges had it 29-28 for Glunder. Glunder improves to 31-11-4(20). Pinto is 74-28. Massaro’s father Rodney Glunder (MMA veteran) was in his corner and got the birthday gift of his son’s victory. Glunder took a nasty unintentional low blow in the first round, and needed a couple of minutes to recover.

Kevin van Heeckeren KO1 Bas van der Kroon (Middleweight Bout)
van Heeckeren dominated the debuting van der Kroon to score a first round stoppage. A right hand over van der Kroon’s low left scored an early knockdown for van Heeckeren, who finished off his foe later with another right and a follow up. The second knockdown dropped van der Kroon on his face, and the fight was halted. van Heeckeren improves to 2-0-1. Official time was 2:48.
