Daniel Ghita faces Dzevad “BH Machine” Poturak of Bosnia at the Colosseum Tournament IX event in Romania on October 29.
The fight will be the first in years for the “Savage Samurai”, who’s been out of the ring since a 2014 decision loss to Rico Verhoeven.
Poturak has been keeping busy. The Bosnian veteran fought at the DSF Kickboxing Challenge 13 in Poland in February, losing a decision to Michal Turynski. In April, Poturak fought another K-1 veteran Alexey Ignashov, and was outpointed over three rounds.
The two fighters are not strangers to one another. Poturak defeated Ghita by decision back in 2008. Ghita avenged the loss with a decision win over Poturak, and won their third fight by stoppage. Poturak, 41, has a chance to even the series at Colosseum IX. FightBox HD will broadcast the action.
