Top Romanian fighter Daniel Ghita continues his comeback in March against Czech veteran Petr Vondracek. The bout takes place on a Colosseum Tournament event in Bucharest, Romania.
Ghita hasn’t fought since a first-round stoppage win over Dzevad Poturak in his ring return last October. The bout ended a lengthy layoff for “The Savage Samurai”, who had been away from the ring since a loss to Rico Verhoeven in 2014.
Vondracek, 41, appears to have lost his last two bouts. He’s got over 20 losses on his record, and lost by KO or TKO roughly a dozen times. The Czech Republic fighter will have his work cut out for him against one of the hardest punchers and kickers in the sport.
Ghita previously announced he’d face Vondracek next, with the bout now scheduled for the 29th of March.
