Colosseum Tournament Kickboxing, one of the top Romanian promotions, is holding its next event on 22 September in the city of Oradea.
On Friday, the organization announced a match between two of Romanian’s brightest young kickboxing talents as Eduard Gafencu faces Daniel “El Nino” Pattvean.
Gafencu is unbeaten (11-0) as a professional, and holds both the Colosseum Tournament -77 kg and -81 kg championships. He got the nickname of “The Tornado Kid” after his spectacular tornado kick KO of Dutchman Thomas Doeve in March.
Pattvean is already a veteran of over 30 professional bouts although he’s only around 20 years of age. Last year, he defeated Islam Khozhdevdiev at the ACB KB 16 gala, and then won against talented Bulgarian Bogdan Shumarov at Colosseum Tournament X in December.
Another solid match up was announced between talented 71 kg fighter Andrei Ostrovanu and Marian Dinu. WKU Intercontinental champion Adrian Mitu, fighting out of the Knock Down Gym in the city of Timisoara, will also be in action on the card.
Popular Romanian super heavyweight Alexandru Lungu will also compete at the event, which will be broadcast internationally on FightBox HD and streamed worldwide on pay-per-view via Fite TV.
