Former WWE announcer and host Justin Roberts is the new ring announcer for Lion Fight Promotions, the organization announced in a press release Thursday. Roberts will begin his new role as the in-ring voice of Lion Fight at the big Lion Fight 45 show on July 28 at the Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, USA.
Roberts is an amazing success story. He first started ring announcing pro wrestling as a teenager, and worked his way up to the pinnacle with the WWE. Roberts called some of the biggest names and events in professional wrestling during his WWE tenure. Roberts is also a respected sports commentator, announcing events such as WEC MMA and CBS Sports Boxing. He’s an accomplished author as well-Roberts’ autobiography Best Seat In The House: Your Backstage Pass Through My WWE Journey was a best seller.
