The Fighting & Entertainment Association (FEA) announced its next event will be held on 7 December at the Futsal Arena in Ciorescu, Moldova, just north of the capital of Chisinau.
Both a featherweight and heavyweight tournament will be held, with the winner of the heavyweight tournament moving on to face interim champion Pavel Zhuravlev for the FEA Heavyweight Title.
Moldovan star Constantin Rusu returns to the ring. Rusu, a three-league champion with FEA, KOK, and the World Kickboxing League, moved down in weight to compete in the lightweight tournament at the FEA WGP Odessa event in August. He lost a close extra-round decision to Armenia’s Zhora Akopyan in the final.
In a battle of Tatneft Cup veterans, Moldova’s Maxim Bolotov faces hard-hitting Claudio “Grizzly” Istrate, fighting out of Italy by way of Romania. Istrate advanced to the semifinals of the 2019 Cup tournament where he lost to former DSF champion Piotr Romankevich.
According to the press release, fighters from the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, and Sweden will be in action as well as Moldovan fighters.
