The Moldova-based Fighting and Entertainment Association (FEA) announced the fight card for its 30 March event in Chisinau, Moldova. FEA vol. 28 includes two four-man tournaments in the 65 and 77 kg weight categories.
KOK World Featherweight Champion Stanislav “Bad Boy” Renita, Cristian Spectu, Francesco Picca, and former KOK title challenger Dmitrii Sirbu are the participants in the featherweight (65 kg) tournament. Renita has defeated Sirbu previously. Sirbu was given the nickname of “The Moldovan McGregor” for his resemblance to Irish MMA star Conor McGregor.
In the welterweight tournament, KOK World Welterweight Champion Constantin Rusu, Benjamin Masudi, Dorel Cristian, and Fikri Arikan will do battle.
Top Moldovan female fighter Nadejda Cantir meets Funda Alkais of Turkey, and FEA Light Heavyweight Champion Alexander Burduja faces Mladen Kujundzic.
Burduja won the four-man 95 kg tournament at FEA 27 in December. After he defeated Gokhan Gedik of Turkey in the semifinals, Moldova’s Burduja defeated Mikhail Tiuterev in the final by unanimous decision.
The event will be held in the Manej Arena, and is scheduled to be broadcast on pay-per-view.
