Fair Fight Promotion held its latest event Saturday in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
Fair Fight 7 was highlighted by a four-man tournament in the -77 kg weight category to crown a new champion.
Sher Mamazulunov, a two-time Tatneft Cup champion from Uzbekistan, and GLORY veteran Jonatan Oliveira met in the finals. After three rounds, the judges did not determine a winner and an extra round was required. The judges voted for Mamazulunov after the extra stanza, and the Uzbekistan fighter is the new Fair Fight -77 kg Champion.
Alexander Skvortsov retained his Fair Fight -70 kg championship with a points win over Rashid Salikhov.
Vadim Vaskov of Belarus is a fighter to keep an eye on. Vaskov has defeated former KOK -77 kg champion Sergei Morari and current KOK -71 kg champion Vitalie Matei already in his young career. On Saturday, Vaskov (9-0) knocked out Rustam Bazarov in the first round.
ACB KB veteran Maxim Sulgin and Stas Makarenko of Latvia also won their fights by knockout.
