Enfusion 82 Results: Barlow and Ennahachi Retain Titles

Enfusion 82 took place today in Orchies, France. The crowd in attendance and fans around the world were treated to a solid card featuring two world title bouts.

Iman “Pretty Killer” Barlow retained her Enfusion Ladies 54 kg championship with a decision victory over solid French challenger Delphine Quenon.

In the main event, Ilias Ennahachi blasted out challenger Madani Belhaddad in the second round to retain his Enfusion 60 kg World Title.

-60 kg: Ilias Ennahachi (Morocco) def. Madani Belhaddad (France)-TKO Round 2 (Retains Enfusion 60 kg World Title)
Ennahachi started quickly and kept the pressure on Belhaddad, as he mixed up his attacks nicely. In round two, the champion continued his attack and knocked down Belhaddad with a combination. The French challenger beat the count, but Ennahachi kept up the pressure. The bout was halted for an impressive win for the champion.

-75 kg: Bilal Loukili (Morocco) def. Farid Boutakhemdit (France)-TKO Round 1 (Cut on Chin)
The 20-year-old Loukili was too much for Boutakhemdit (21-5). The Moroccan prospect stunned Boutakhemdit with some punches early, and legendary ref Joop Ubeda stepped in for an eight count. Later in the round, Loukili (37-4-2) was in control and the bout was stopped because of a cut on Boutakhemdit’s chin.

-95 kg: Mohamed Amine (The Netherlands) def. Abderahmane Coulibaly (France)-Decision
Moroccan-Dutch youngster Amine (26-3) got the better of the action against French veteran Coulibaly (61-20-1) in an evenly matched contest. Amine was the busier fighter late and got the split decision.

-75 kg: Youssef Challouki (Belgium) def. Maksym Pleshko (Romania)-TKO Round 1 (3 Knockdown Rule)
Challouki, who won a four-man Abu Dhabi qualifier last year at 72.5 kg, scored a quick win over Pleshko. The Belgian fighter applied pressure, and Pleshko answered back but Challouki’s pressure and body punching was too much for the Romanian. Challouki (30-2-1) knocked down Pleshko (13-5) three times with body punches to score the first round TKO win.

-Heavyweight: Nidal Bchiri (Morocco) def. Cristian Ristea (Romania)-Decision
In a give and take battle, Bchiri won a decision over the tough Ristea. Ristea did well in round one, but tired as the fight wore on. Bchiri was the more active fighter, and Ristea was exhausted late in the fight but still trying.

-54kg: Iman Barlow (United Kingdom) def. Delphine Quenon (France)-Decision (Barlow Retains Enfusion Ladies 54 kg World Title)
Barlow (101-6-4) picked up victory 101 with a decision win over French contender Quenon (35-6). Barlow initiated the action as the French southpaw waited for the Brit to lead. Quenon landed a few good shots as Barlow got into range, but the British champion outlanded her to get the win. Barlow connected with some solid body kicks, and landed some good knees to the body while she controlled the clinch.

-85 kg: Anis Bouzid (Belgium) def. Aristote Quitusisa (Angola)-TKO Round 3
Quitusisa spent a lot of energy early, and Bouzid was breaking him down with punches and knees by late in round one. Quitusisa was tired, but was able to catch Bouzid (41-2) with shots from time to time. In round three, Bouzid connected with some punches and the referee gave an eight count to Quitusisa (41-9-3). The African fighter was tired and not offering much resistance, and the bout was waved off.
