Polish promotion DSF Kickboxing Challenge returned to Warsaw with their latest event Friday. DSF Kickboxing Challenge 15 featured a title fight main event in addition to a Poland vs Lithuania challenge series. The action was streamed live and free outside Poland on the DSF Live website. Here are the results. The next DSF event is scheduled for June 1.

Jan Lodzik WD5 Yury Zhukouski (Retains DSF 65kg Title)
Lodzik got the decision over Zhukouski to retain his title. It was a good fight but dirty at times. Zhukouski accused Lodzik of using his head and elbow, and both fighters received yellow cards from the referee. Zhukouski also had a point deduction for throwing double knees in the clinch. Lodzik was the straight ahead fighter. Zhukouski showed his craft and experience.

Maciej Jewtuszko WD3 Robert Krason-81kg
Jewtuszko scored a first round knockdown with a backfist. Krason was given a red card (two point deduction) in the third round for clinching and throwing knees after a previous warning.

Patrick Kurylek WD3 Dawid Mankowski-58kg
Kurylek got the edge over Mankowski in a match up between two young kickboxers getting their start in the professional ranks. Kurylek improves to 3-1 while Mankowski is 0-1.

Poland vs Lithuania Bouts

Dawid Mirkowski (POL) WD4 Edgaras Banikonis (LIT)-81kg
Mirkowski outscored Banikonis in the extra round to get the win and give Poland a 3-2 win in the Poland vs Lithuania Challenge series. Mirkowski was the better fighter overall, but Banikonis did land some good punches on the 3 time Polish Muay Thai champion. Mirkowski moves on to a May 30 showdown with Artem Levin at the Zhara Fight event in Moscow.

Nauris Lukosiunas (LIT) TKO1 Aleksander Kalicki (POL)-66kg
Lithuania’s Lukosiunas impressed with a first round demolition of Kalicki. The fight was starting to get going, and Lukosiunas scored with a quick left hook that dropped Kalicki. Kalicki got up but never recovered as Lukosiunas kept on the attack and dropped him twice more to get the stoppage.

Greta Giedraityte (LIT) WD3 Gabriela Makowska (POL)-Female 59kg
Giedraitye scored two eight counts over Makowska in winning a decision. Giedraityte came forward and threw some nice straight punches, and also showed a good defense. Makowska was tiring and on the defensive by the second round.

Broton was ahead on points and finished Adomaitis in the last round. A high kick dropped the Lithiuanian fighter, and Broton finished him off with a knee.

Patryk Radon (POL) WD3 Martynus Danius (LIT)-71kg
Southpaw Radon earned a clear decision win over Danius in the first Poland-Lithuania challenge bout. Danius was tough and kept coming forward, and landed a few good punches, but the Lithuanian ate some hard punches and low kicks. No knockdowns.
