Romanian promotion Colosseum Tournament announced a four-man tournament will be held at its next event to crown a new 65 KG champion.
Four fighters representing four different countries will battle it out at Colosseum Tournament XVI on 28 October in Sibiu, Romania with the belt on the line.
The fighters are:
Levan Revazishvili (Georgia)-the young fighter has competed for the KOK organization at events in Cyprus and Lithuania, and has a 1-2 record in KOK competition. In his last KOK bout, he defeated Maxim Branis of Israel by unanimous decision in Cyprus in June.
Fabrizio Conti (Italy)-fights out of Team Boxing D’Angelo in Bari, Italy. Faced Romanian legend Ionut “Pitbull” Atodiresei in Atodiresei’s farewell bout at Colosseum Tournament XIV, losing a decision.
Maxim Raylan (Moldova)-Moldovan fighter.
Adrian Maxim (Romania)-Colosseum Tournament veteran. Holds a record of 21-4. Defeated KOK title challenger Dmitri Sirbu of Molodva at Colosseum Tournament IX last year, and is coming off a decision win against Armenia’s Artyom Grigoryan at Colosseum Tournament XV.
In other Colosseum Tournament XVI news, the organization’s 86 KG Champion Cosmin Ionescu will face Greece’s Petros Vardakas in a non-title bout. Ionescu was origiinally scheduled to face Holland’s Jimi van Oeveren.
Colosseum Tournament XVI will be broadcast on the Digi Sport channel in Romania, and internationally via FightBox HD. Fite TV will stream the event internationally on a pay-per-view basis.
