FEA announced a change to the four-man light heavyweight tournament taking place on 08 December at FEA vol. 27 in Chisinau, Moldova.
Imad Hadar of Morocco was forced to withdraw because of a leg injury. Hadar’s replacement is Samir Boukhidous, a Moroccan fighter who represents the Hemmers Gym team.
Boukhidous fought for Glory back in 2015, winning one bout and losing another. He’ll face Mihail Tyuterev of Russia in the tournament’s first round.
Gokhan Gedik faces Alexander Burduja in the other semifinal. Gedik fights out of Mike’s Gym while Burduja is a Moldovan fighter coming off a win at the FEA event in October.
A number of top Moldovan fighters are scheduled to compete in the event, including KOK 65 kg champion Stanislav Renita. Renita faces fellow Moldovan Dmitrii Sirbu. Dorel Cristian, Constantin Rusu, and Vitalie Matei are also scheduled for action, as is female champion Nadejda Cantir.
FEA vol.27 is scheduled to be broadcast on a pay-per-view basis via the FEA Fights TV platform.
