News: ACB KB 15 Fight Card Released, Karate Combat Streams Free Tuesday, Kielholtz wins MMA

ACB Kickboxing released the official card for the ACB KB 15 Grand Prix Kitek event which takes place Friday April 20 in Moscow.

As previously announced, Artem Levin will face Igor Bugaenko for the ACB KB 85kg title in the main event. Georgian Tsotne Rogava faces Jhonata Diniz for the ACB KB heavyweight championship, and there is also fights involving Alexander Stetsurenko, Dzhabar Askerov, and Perviz Abdullaev against Islam Baibatyrov for the ACB KB 77kg title.

Here is the inforgraphic featuring the scheduled fight card. There are 13 fights scheduled in all, including the undercard. The event is dedicated in memory of the late Yury Stupenkov. Stupenkov was a pioneer in organizing kickboxing events in Russia.

Karate Combat Replay Streaming Free on Fite TV Tuesday


There is a new fight promotion on the block: Karate Combat. The upstart organization is promoting matches between some of the best karate fighters in the world, with the rules allowing punches, kicks, throws, and single leg takedowns. Knees and elbows are not allowed. The fights take place in the “Karate Combat pit” instead of a cage or ring, and are three rounds of three minutes each.

Karate Combat’s first event took place in February in Budapest, and Fite TV will air a replay free on Tuesday at 8pm EST/5pm PST. The event will be available on replay later.

Kielholtz wins MMA Bout at Bellator

Female kickboxing champion Denise Kielholtz won her MMA bout at the Bellator event in Budapest, Hungary Friday night. Kielholtz defeated tough late replacement Petra Castkova by three round decision. Kielholtz is married to GLORY heavyweight contender Hesdy Gerges, who was in her corner.
